Nice little trucker bar in the middle of nowhere, got two phillie cheesesteak sandwiches and they were great

We stopped here because of the outstanding reviews. We had a very hard time finding this place as there were no signs and the restaurant is in the middle of a building between a gas station store and a bar. After driving around and asking a couple of people we found it. There were no super friendly cooks as the reviews raved about, just one woman who was nice enough, but kept to herself. We were the only customers. My son had a roast beef sandwich that he said was good. I had a cheeseburger that was ok. Fries were so so. Definitely nothing to write home about.

Left over prime rib. Reheated!! From yesterday or maybe Saturday?!?! I don't think so cowboy. Friendly cook. But I just can't believe that you would offer leftovers reheated from the microwave. Ok I guess that's the best thing going on in a 40 mile radius. They have zero competition. So be it!!! I'll pass. Thanks but no thanks. Decided not to eat anything after what I heard and saw.

Decided to stop based on reviews. Had a Reuben sandwich that I split with my hubby. Along with a small it was huge salad and it came with a side. We got the little jalapeño cheese bites. This was more than enough food to have us both properly stuffed. The salad was nothing special but it was fresh and cold. Not even a smidge of wilt!! The sandwich however was special....super lean tender corned beef piled high, melty cheese and kraut. The sandwich was actually grilled so the edges were crispy as they should be. We got it to go and it was nicely packed with two dressings for our salad, the ranch for the j. Bites and it was ready FAST. Only negative is the difficulty in finding it, even after going into the Conoco as directed by other reviewers I had to ask if there was a restaurant. Super nice staff escorted me on back there : BTW our gps tried to direct us a block or two off target. It 's the big Conoco gas station- just look for that.

Let's just say I will be back next time I'm coming through.
