Avaliação da contribuiçãoLoved our meals here! good choices, well presented food. Lovely log fire burning. Great décor View of vineyards! Staff went out of their way with friendliness, smiles & attentiveness!
We couldn't falter one thing about the service or the food. It was **** excellent in every way. The breakfast fit for a king offering everything. Big compliments to the Chef and service of wait staff for making our stay so very very excellent.!!!
Wasn''t sure whether this restaurant was for the rich and famous.Once there we realised it was an exceptional restaurant for the food, atmosphere and ( scenery by day)The menu had so much to pick from, the dishes all sounded delicious and when presented was outstanding in presentation and taste. Don't go for two couses have three the desserts are divine - the blood orange souffle and that meringue icecream to compliment it - excellent!!
Absolutely incredible meals. We all had three courses and could not fault a thing. Excellent service, stunning views even got Happy Birthday written on my dessert plate without requesting - a lovely touch.
We went for Sunday lunch today. The food was delicious, and could not be faulted. We sat by the open log fire and it was cosy and warm on a coolish winter's day. The views over the rolling vineyards are stunning. The staff were pleasant and accommodating, and the wine was lovely. All in all, a great place to eat. However, the website advertises $49 for a 2 course meal on Saturdays and Sundays, yet the menu we were given said $65. We queried this, and were told they were updating their prices but would honor the $49 deal. That seemed fair, until we presented the entertainment card we had bought which states "25% off the total bill". We were then told it would be 25% off the $65 price (not the $49 advertised price), which meant we still paid $49, so there was no pint using the card, unless we could save 25% on drinks, however we were then told that the 25% was only off the food, not off drinks. This is not what I understand "total bill" to mean. I feel that the pricing difficulties spoiled a lovely meal. The food, drinks and service were good, however if a price is advertised, and someone has purchased an entertainment book then the deals within should be honoured, and not altered in the restaurant's favour. A disappointing end to a nice lunch.
