Songoku Hibachi And Sushi Japanese

We recently tried the South Cali Roll and it was a new favorite for us, thank you! Unfortunately, the Happy Roll was too rich for our taste with too much cream cheese and sauce. We would have preferred more specialty options with mango that didn't include cream cheese or shrimp. The California Roll was not to our liking today due to the overwhelming amount of cucumber that affected the flavor. However, we both enjoyed the Sweet Potato Rolls as they were perfect! The Rainbow Roll was delicious and the Salmon Nigiri was wonderful, with very fresh fish. Despite the slightly overcooked rice on all the rolls, it wasn't a major issue. The House Salad was disappointing as the dressing had seeped into the greens during delivery, it would be better served on the side.

The sushi at this place is consistently okay, but we often receive the wrong rolls that we ordered. Unfortunately, the soup was served cold, the salad was packaged upside down causing the dressing to leak out, and the calamari was cold and chewy. If you're craving sushi and prefer staying in, this might be your best option. Just avoid ordering any extras.

The gyoza was served cold and the fried rice seemed to resemble the taste of dog food. I have ordered both dishes from this restaurant before and have previously enjoyed them.

South Cali Roll will always be my favorite! I wish it was more affordable, since its the only sushi place on this app
