Grand Electric Muskoka - Port Carling

So the menu is smaller than the Toronto location but it is oh so good One complaint this time around. we are regulars and know that it gets busy. We were with a relative that was not well and wanted to bring them here so we called in the morning and asked for a reservation for 6 as there are only a few larger tables. We were told that 3 o'clock was a good time to come as it was calming down between after lunch. But they could not take a reservation. When we arrived there was no table available however some walked in behind us and said they had a reservation and were seated we inquired and were told they take one reservation a day. We waited for over an hour finally we saw there were several 4 tables free and asked if we could not be seated and split up. And we were seated right away. It would of been nice if this would have been suggested to us as we arrived. However. The food was wonderful as always. My favorite in the shrimp taco. THe spicy chicken is very spiced but very good. I was happy to hear that the corn is coming back. We love the corn and it is the season We would recommend this place for its views. Staff and wonderful food. It is a small but very good menu. The fish is also fabulous.

Grand Electric is a hip and happening little place right on the water. Cool drinks, fish tacos, and some tasty salads will keep you coming back. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Met some friends here for dinnerPlace was hoping even though the weather was less than ideal for a summer early eveningSome interesting taco options (crispy cauliflower, mushroom) were good, the spicy chicken lived up to it's nameThe mains were good and the "beach salad " was the most interesting presentation of iceberg lettuce I've had in a while One surprise- no coffeeAnd minimal wine choices

Had a great meal at the restaurant in July. Sahara did a great job in taking care of ourselves. she was very polite and helpful. Good food but could do with a bit more of a selection. great views of the water.

If you're hungry don't bother unless you plan on spending a ton of money to fill your belly. Food is great! Super small portions. Their signature beer is amazing and was super cold! The Mexican Street Corn was delicious. The bill for 4 of us was more than necessary
