Avaliação da contribuiçãoGood spot for lunch when in Pt. Charlotte located in something of a weird location behind Metro Diner. They do quality pan-asian fusion food at a reasonable price with lots of menu choices. You could visit this place once a week for a year and not have tried the same thing twice. I had a couple small bao buns with Korean fried chicken as an appetizer and a beef bulgogi rice bowl for my main. Both dishes were really tasty. The marinated egg served with the bulgogi was awesome.
Truly OUTSTANDING quality quantity of food.My family I lived in Japan for six years went native immersing ourselves COMPLETELY in Japanese life.Food, of course, is always key to culture.Ekiben is wonderfully reminiscent of our amazing Japanese life. There was SOO much food!! Including the free miso soup fried sweet milk dessert, that luckily we had several guests to share sample the delicious food of Japan with. The ONLY disappointment was that chopsticks were not included. Luckily we had chopsticks in our Japanese dishware. HeHeCan't recommend enough. If you want a taste if Japan...then EkiBen is THE place to enjoy it. We had delivery thru grubhub (highly recommend) ordered FAR more than just a serving per person. We ordered many dishes to sample share, so as to cost per person, I'd say higher than fast food. BUT Soo worth the price for the exceptional food.
I come here often for the super volcano roll! this time we tried out the new korean dishes and takoyaki! :D
Today I went into this place to get a Mango Bobo Tea. The lady at the counter did not greet me as I stood there waiting to be served. At first I thought well maybe she didn't see me. So I waited some more as she went to serve the food to the tables. She passed by me two times didn't make eye contact and went around me. When she gets behind the counter she said Are you ready. I still smiled and ordered a large bobo Mango. She started to make my drink 2 times and would stop to serve the tables. I stood there and just waited. And strolled on my phone. This is when I knew for sure there was a problem. Once my drink was ready. She placed it on the counter and didn't say anything. I had to walk up to the counter and ask if this is my tea. She said yes and that was all. I just did a search for Bobo teas in Port Charlotte and thank goodness I have other options. I won't be coming into your place anymore. I have many tasty options with great friendly service.
I've been coming here since they opened in like 2018 and I've always wondered how they offer such amazing food (with large portions) for a good price. Owners are so sweet and hardworking too, so I will be coming here for as long as possible.
