Mcdonald's - Port Coquitlam

This drive thru will always ask you to park and wait so that they can make it look like they are keeping good order times.

Terrible customer service. Yesterday, Aug 15 2023, I went to the drive thru to order a large iced water for my grandmother who was experiencing heat exhaustion and they refused to give out water on a day that it got up to 37! They said they would not give us a cup of iced water unless we made a purchase of an item. Water is a basic human right, especially in the middle of a heat wave. They finally gave her a SMALL cup of water and refused to give any more than that. We have always been customers at this location to purchase food. The customer service has always been terrible but after yesterday we will no longer visit this location. Staff there clearly need to be trained better. Jeez having some compassion at least towards an elderly person.

This McDonald's has been a mainstay for many years, a quick coffee and lunch after braving the crowds next door at Costco. Service, food, cleanliness, atmosphere, all were consistently McDonald's up until the last month or so. Food quality has plummeted...had a chicken habanero today, almost inedible. Bun was burnt and cold, chicken patty was dry and hard, lettuce smelled and tasted stale...all this after having to wait ten minutes, with only one other patron at the counter.The most positive thing I can say about the young lady who very hurriedly handed me my tray...she was professional, if not friendly...Last time there a few weeks back was pretty much a carbon copy.Not sure if this is the new McDonald's model for 2023 or if this is just the Ottawa Street store, but I cannot force myself to go back.

I’m so fat but I don’t care I come here every day and order 6 Big Macs 9 fries 4 cokes 2 chicken nuggets and 0 quarter pounders. I love this place and I will go to it until I can’t no more?

It is in a great location...But guess they are short of staffing.. no one was available to wipe off dirty tray for us..We need to go to counter for helping.
