Waves Coffee House - Port Coquitlam

My mom and I go to Waves regularly. Up until this year (she’s 90 now) she was driving to Waves every day. We’ve gotten to know the friendly owners and always get the best service. If I go without mom they always ask about her. Oh and also, great coffee, and scones are our favourite.

The quality of the coffee has gone down this last year. The staff are disorganised and can't even understand simple requests. I have visited several times now just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. I don't know if they are under new management but they have tanked. I guess it's Starbucks now.

Located center of town, Waves is busy popular meet up spot. Newly renovated. Lots seating inside some outside. Coffee treats are great. Lots varieties selection. Good drop in location. Come to Waves.

For a coffee and muffin to sit and relax fine , you can sit in or out . not the place to go if you want a meal .

We stopped in for a hot chocolate and it was sub par. Why dont places have better hot chocolate. This is a no brainer.
