Lucky's Primitive Cooking - Port Severn

We recently had a party and asked Lucky's to cater a large amount of food for our event. We decided on the chicken and rib combo and it was fantastic. They were very accommodating, on time, and well worth it. We ordered for 50 people and all were able to take home leftovers. We will definitely order from them again. It was great that they can cater for groups of less than 75 people, especially when other options refused to do so if we had fewer guests.

On July 9th, 2016, my wife had a surprise party and ordered food from Lucky's. The ribs were so tender they fell off the bone while eating, and everyone at the party enjoyed the meal. Thank you for helping to make the party a success. Signed, The Cardwells.

We have a house nearby, and this restaurant has become our go-to spot when we don't feel like cooking. Heidi and Lucky are incredibly friendly, and getting to know them adds a unique touch to the experience. One time, they let us try out a new dish they were considering adding to the menu for free - smoked and deep-fried chicken wings! The ribs are delicious, and the pulled pork is tasty, whether served as a sandwich or on poutine. The poutine also has curds, which is a big plus for us in Ontario cottage country!

Had a very unhappy experience. the owner cried out for a dog and sat on a picnic table while waiting for our food. eating was both fat and bland. would not recommend.

2nd time at the table, Just as great as the first time and Ice Cream just topped it off. Lucky and his wife do a awesome job of cooking and serving up hospitality.
