Schoops Hamburgers - Portage

My 1st time here. Ordered 2 eggs/sausage/hash browns/toast. Satisfied with everything except the hash browns. They were really oily. Also could have been cooked a little more. Service was good, always had a full cup of coffee.

Retro burger joint with all the nostalgic atmosphere you would expect. Service was good, the slice of pumpkin pie I got for desert was HUGE.

Worst hamburger ever and the fries were undercooked and greasy. They even ruined the milk shake that was just vanilla ice cream. Wish I had my 40 dollars back.

Proud to have grown in around here and going to Schoops with my children like my parents with me. The old steel mill and lake Michigan photo prints show our city's history and how this little place grew.
