Teriyaki Of Japan - Porters Neck

Teryakyi of Japan always follows my instructions to the letter, the food is always warm no matter the driver, always tastes amazing, and the portions are fantastic, I always have leftovers for later!!! Cant beat the price point!!

This my second time from ordering from this restaurant and today I the #4 Chicken Shrimp Teriyaki . The portion was a very nice size and the meal was AMAZING! I ordered the white rice with vegetables. The vegetables included, cabbage, broccoli, and carrot strips. I appreciate that the vegetables were full size pieces versus the small bits I apos;ve received from other restaurants. I ordered a side of White Sauce and it came safely wrapped in plastic to prevent spillage. The container was larger than I expected and Im ot complaining! The teriyaki sauce is really good I just like white sauce and theirs is so yummy!

The Chicken Teriyaki was excessively sweet, far too sugary for a teriyaki dish. The vegetables were either overcooked or lacked flavor entirely. The cream cheese "crab rangoon" also had an overly sweet taste. The "white sauce" resembled more of a tan color and seemed to be broken. Unfortunately, half of the food ended up in the trash because it was just too sweet.

The portion sizes were excellent, and the food tasted great. The vegetables were cooked to perfection. I will definitely be ordering from here again the next time I'm in town.

The Chicken Teriyaki had a fairly good flavor, but it didn’t have much sauce, which made the dish feel drier than I anticipated. The chicken itself seemed to be of lower quality, with a texture that was somewhat fatty and chewy. On a brighter note, the Philly Cheesesteak Egg Roll (one piece) was excellent!
