Avaliação da contribuiçãoI came for happy hour and I had my doubts because I’ve had some pretty bad Chinese food since coming to Portland, but enjoyed the flavours very much. The fries were seasoned in a way reminiscent of street potatoes in Xian. The chicken wings were crisp and lip smacking garlic. I thought the lamb skewers needed a little help with the seasoning but they were not bad overall. Unlike most places I’ve visited in Portland, they used the right amount of salt. Portions were generous.
Tried hard to like this place. Nice ambiance, service was good. But unfortunately food was a total miss. Ordered skewers and Generals Chicken. Both were flavorless. Esp the General's Chicken....fried chicken with bunch of red chillies dripping in oil without any flavor.
Definitiw one of my favorite dining experiences in portland. our friend brought us here, and they told us that they found out about the place by another recommendation about a particular dish the scheczuan chicken. I love spicy eating, but this end of the chili wars. this dish is proud of the chillies that came all the way from the province of scheczuan in china so that they can actually taste the authenticity. it is dry, tasteful, somewhat tasteful and spicy, but it is just the experience they live. no sweat. aaaah, I'll see how I write this review! the place is also cozy and chic, so that they have this oriental and modern culinary experience. the personal was also friendly, warm and offers first-class customer service.
Fantastic Chinese cuisine. I love the fried mais. in any case they come back for the maisfries. wings are both large and the pommes. they have a little cumsy taste of the pfeffer I love it
Such a great spot. Great food, good value, an excellent addition to the Portland food scene. The corn is a must, as are the peanuts, and the spicy chicken.
