The apple muffin was truly awful but the coffee and atmosphere made up for it. I will try another food item next time
My one regret is that I only discovered this place 3 weeks into my 5 weeks stay in Portland which was a short 5 minute walk from where I lived. Marty the owner rescued me by fixing my hiking pole used as a walking aid post knee surgery during the historic snow back in late February while he was out shoveling snow. Ended up bringing my work to get done there at least 3-4 times weekly for the remaining time in Portland and Marty his baristas were all fabulous. The atmosphere was conducive for working and there are a couple of cafe regulars- David, Jaime and another professor who would be at their same spots on the long table working. Positive vibes all around and connections made too. Could not recommend this place even more to anyone looking for a regular spot to remote work and the staff are always chirpy. Marty if you're seeing this, love from 12,000 miles away in Singapore!
Great atmosphere, fairly old building, probably dates to 1920's, or so. Wonderful staff, very popular place to come to. Lots of artwork inside, with some unusual pieces. Found out, it was built in 1910!
I had a honey lavender latte!! It was v good : . Busy on a rainy day, but the vibes were still great. Close to Wallace Park too, so that is fun.
