Osteria La Botte Gaia - PORTO AZZURRO

I was greeted to the restaurant by very friendly and professional staff. They asked me if I would prefer English as I struggled with my Italian. I did not reserve a table and I arrived at opening time ie 1930 hours. The waiter suggested a small appetiser which was beautifully arranged on the plate and was delicious. My main meal of whole baked fish and vegetables was also so fresh and delicious. I was in a covered outdoor area and was so pleased to see a no smoking sign. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

As soon as you enter you understand you will enjoy a great experience Dishes are tasty and presentation is good Service is kind and they explain you all dishes I suggest mainly starters and second dishes It’s up to you to decide which fish you prefers For dessert chocolates and rum

Back here after around ten years and it was the great experience as before. l’m definitely in love with this place, its atmosphere, its food and the courtesy of the service. It’s even not expensive, if you consider the high quality level of food and the details. Absolutely worth it!

Siamo tornati come tutti gli anni alla Botte Gaia e come tutti gli anni siamo usciti col sorriso!! Locale curato con una staff preciso e professionale. Abbiamo assaggiato il crudo, vario ed eccellente!! Abbiamo proseguito con un carpaccio di seppia per poi passare ai tortelli ripieni di melanzana e scamorza con una salsa delicatissima al pomodoro e riduzione di basilico. Abbiamo poi assaggiato anche un bel San Pietro all’isolana!! Dulcis in fundo …cannolo siciliano scomposto! Molto buona la carta dei vini..bollicine comprese! Rapporto qualità-prezzo ottimo!! Assolutamente da provare!! TOP!!

This is a nice cozy restaurant. Our dinner was fabulous, especially the shrimps and the fried swordfish were amazing. Very good sorbetto. Wine is priced reasonably. Staff was very courteous. We will be back.
