Lovely little coffe shop/patisserie. Enjoyed a tea outside didn't try the pastries but they looked very nice. Friendly staff who served us in english.
This is a pleasant café in the heart of Prague conveniently located at Wenceslas square close to the metro. It has comfortable seating upstairs at street level as well as downstairs. It is quiet and ideal for chatting over a cup of tea or coffee. However, we were there during a hot summer day and the air-conditioning was unpleasantly cold, we were so cold, we had to leave earlier than expected and looked for another café which was warmer.
We went in to buy some pastries as we have had this before in France and it was delicious. As we are not Czech we were ignored while standing at the counter, then spoken too rudely when being served after we asked for a particular pastry and paying. We went back later for a baguette, the same rude man seen us and mumbled to his colleague while she was serving us, she rolled her eyes then said we are closing in 20 minutes. We then walked out without purchasing an item, went nexr door and bought a product from them. Tourism is what keeps businesses in Prague flourishing, I don't understand why you would behave in such a manner, especially when the custom was being pleasant saying please and thankyou after being treated in such a way. I wouldn't recommend this business in Prague.
Great taste at affordable price. Large cups and a special price for a treat drink. I do love their sandwiches and croissants. There are restrooms inside.
