Hako Sushi - Prahran

I went to a Japanese restaurant with friends yesterday and had a delicious salmon sashimi plate. The fish was fresh, and the portion size and price were both reasonable. I will definitely be returning. This restaurant has become my favorite Japanese spot in Melbourne!

Thank you for your excellent service. I am always happy with the prices and the food here. The food tastes delicious as well, making it a perfect option for takeout on busy days.

I should have written this review a long time ago, but I am finally getting around to it now. The food at this restaurant is incredible, the prices are reasonable, and even though the space is small, it is convenient and easy to find near Prahran train station. The cashier was extremely friendly.

We ordered in last night, my partner and I ordered a chicken katsu curry each which came with a miso soup.  The curry had a lot of flavour with chunks of carrot, zucchini and potato in it, the chicken schnitzel was nice too.  I don't normally order miso (I don't really like it) but this came as a side and I managed to have a few mouthfuls of it and it was nice. I'd happily order from here again.

We get takeaway regularly from Hako. It's really fresh food at good prices. The teriyaki chicken don, sashimi, panko and tempura prawns are really good. Would be good to see more variety on the menu but what they do they do really well! Great little spot on Chapel st!
