French Market - Prairie Village

The French market is our favorite place! You feel so welcome and like you are actually in a French cafe. The food, drinks, service and atmosphere are excellent. It is a non-pretentious place that feels at once to the earth and imagination. It's even cheap! We recommend 100% the French market!

Did the woman take this for a nice meal date. Was alittle busy and crowded during the lunch break. We sat outside since the weather was nice. Had the crispy chicken sandwich with Hanna frits. Wife had the Ham sandwich. Both were delicious.

This is like a small grocery store and restaurant combines business. I have some good things from both sides. A bowl of soup, a sandwich and a salad ordered for lunch. They all taste good. Not sure how French they are. I think this is like a big Potbelly sandwich or Panera Bread-ish square. We also have some take-out cooled food plates from the food side. You look pretty good, but you have no chance to try them. You have many French food items on this page. You also have a small corner that makes cheese and meat as you order them. Overall, I find it a good place to take a quick bite with friends.

My daughter introduced me to this gem of a store. Great breakfast and wonderful pastries along with a great selection of cheese and sausage, prepared foods, made in house, and of course cookbooks. Also the best mocha i have had.

Good pastries and good selection of pre-prepared foods and unique condiments to buy. Very freindly and helpful staff. Did not eat in the dining room. They did not offer French onion soup so went to the main Cafe just a few steps away in a separate location.
