This is a comfortable, well-guided tavern. both the breakfast and the dinner were delicious with local ingredients. oysters and fried green tomato with crabs are popular. server are friendly, with a kamin burning, this historical setting is chased d to beat

Another great meal in an iconic setting. The flash fried brussel sprouts with balsamic vinegar were delicious, as was the winter beet salad and shrimp and grits. The service was attentive but not rushed. This is by far the best restaurant in Somerset County and maybe the whole Eastern Shore!
