Midori Sushi - Princeton

The food at this restaurant is outstanding, as long as you make the right choices from the menu. Like many sushi places, it has a diverse selection that includes tonkotsu, udon, salads, rice bowls, and of course, sushi. The trick is knowing what to order. We sampled the beef negimaki, Midori chips, and the sushi/sashimi combo for two. Each dish was simple yet elevated by the high quality of the ingredients. The beef negimaki was tender and flavorful, the Midori chips had a surprisingly delightful taste (who knew fish could pair so well with a Pringle?), and the sushi combo was fresh and beautifully presented. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and attentive.

The food was absolutely delicious. We tried the Oceanic Volcano Roll, the Blue Crab Fantastic Roll, spicy calamari, white tuna sashimi, salmon sashimi, and a spider roll. Each dish was fantastic, showcasing fresh and flavorful fish, with the two premium rolls standing out as exceptional. The prices were reasonable—not too cheap, but not excessively high either. Even the tea served was of excellent quality. I would highly recommend this restaurant to others; it's definitely worth a visit.

The sushi here is great! I ordered takeout and was impressed with how well it was packaged. They even provided a nice insulated bag that I can reuse for shopping. The lunch special is reasonably priced too. Food: 5/5

This is probably the best sushi restaurant in the Princeton area, alongside Roots. When a place can craft an exceptional salmon avocado roll, it's a definite win for me, and this one certainly does. They also feature some exciting and unique rolls. My current favorites are the Samurai roll and the Dragon roll. The calamari and rock shrimp are fantastic as well. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable, which adds to the overall experience. Plus, the restaurant is typically not too crowded, something I really appreciate. I haven't come across a single disappointing dish on the menu.
