Puttshack Oakbrook - Proviso Township

We reserved a time during the weekend and had a fun experience. It was busy but well organized. Check in was easy, and the course was engaging and fun for our entire family. We really liked how it kept score for you!Puttshack is clean and well staffed. Everyone we interacted with was kind and helpful. This place is especially great for when the weather is rainy and such. Just make sure to book your game early if possible. Have fun!

This place is horrid, the staff is rude and unprofessional. They lie to customers, make false accusations to police officers putting customers in danger, and are racist. Do not spend a dime here give it to places with professional and kind workers.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I came here to celebrate my daughter’s birthday with 5 kids ranging in age from 6 months to 13, and 3 adults (2 being women). We ate before our golf reservation, and before dinner ended, one of the kids got sick, and we knew it was time to leave. I went over to ask if I could get a refund since one of the kids was sick. The manager offered to allow the remaining kids to play, leaving the sick child in the car. I declined, and he then offered a credit, but I explained I didn’t want to come back, I just wanted a refund. He then told me to stop being rude. I explained that I wasn’t being rude, just firm because I was not happy with the experience. He then looked over to another male and said, “Right, why is she rude?” I interjected to say I wasn’t being rude and would appreciate not being labeled as such. I mentioned that being a black woman and firm didn’t mean I was rude. He made a joke that he was black too (even though he wasn’t). He then agreed to give me a refund, took down my reservation number, and told me to check my account in 24 hours. I informed him that I didn’t feel comfortable leaving without confirmation of the refund. He went to the back and returned with a woman who told me I couldn’t get a refund and to accept the credit. I asked why he had agreed to a refund. She came closer and told me to take the refund or not, as there would be no loss. So, I then said no, I wanted a refund. She then threatened to call the police. While on the phone with the police, I went over to ask the representative for the corporate number. They were explaining something to me when she pulled them away and told them not to answer my questions.I met the police at the door, and they explained they would try to mediate and at least provide me with some form of communication to reach out to someone higher up. I asked the remaining officer why there were 4 cars and 8 officers plus a K9 unit. He then explained that she had told the operator there were 9 people, so they came thinking it was 9 adults instead of women with children. I honestly told the officers how dangerous that type of miscommunication is, and they agreed. This situation was discriminatory, dangerous, and wrong.

Puttshack is inevitably the best first date experience. We could not be more grateful for an awesome memory that will last forever. This was epic and we don 't have enough good things to say about this place. It 's a great spot for families with kids, adult groups and just couples and of course events that make the best memories. Thank You Puttshack- we WILL BE BACK!

Really good vibe! Brought my friend as a mini bachelorette celebration and she was so surprised and excited and had so much fun! I've been to this location once before and one in Atlanta and both of them had technical difficulties. I'm assuming it's probably just because of how the holes are so elaborate and exciting like hit a ball under a rail to make it bounce on drums to get a hole in one. However, when an issue did arise, there was always an attendant somewhere within the vicinity and they typically fixed it within a minute or two and were friendly and professional the entire time.We did have food and drinks while we were there. The food was pretty good and the drinks were tasty. We all had fun and I would definitely be back! The staff was friendly and helpful.
