Avaliação da contribuiçãoWith Gurus Cafe in Provo it shares some of the same aesthetics. I checked for YELP at Guru 's when we eat there and was rewarded with a voucher for a free cookie from Enliten Bakery. Normally, I do not accept gifts or discounts from places that I evaluate unless it is a printed voucher that everyone can use, and this offer seemed close enough to try it. Also, living hundreds of miles away, there was not likely another opportunity to use it later. In general, my view, if I would not buy anything, getting it free with a voucher, is not a big deal. It was a busy day for the hard-working crew in Enlighten and Guru 's and it was also within an hour of their conclusion. After a very good dinner I went to Bäckereithek to find out what my voucher could redeem? They had a single peanut butter cookie that had broken a corner, some sugar cookies and some gluten-free cookies, each chocolate chip, the other was snickerdoodle. Of all these, the broken peanut butter cookie was most attractive to me and sugar cookies. I also thought I'd take the damaged ones so they could sell the others. The nice lady took it with pliers and simply added that she tried to put it in a bag with them, the cookie fell on the floor. She was destroyed. She asked if instead I wanted a proposal of cookies and I explained that would not go well with my wife who would share it with me. She then offered the two remaining gluten-free cookies I accepted. The grace with which she treated this is more remarkable than the cookies. They were good, even two days later, when we enjoyed them with a deaf that was reinforced with a small Irish cream at home. The bakery also had Sweet Potato cheesecake, which really fascinated me, but I didn't have room for after our meal from Guru 's and our would not have held well during our trip back to Cheyenne the next day. While we were still in the bakery, I checked for YELP and... got another voucher for a free cookie. Next time was there, I won't use it. Instead, I will leave space for the desert and try a piece of this Sweet Potato (or another) cheesecake. Bon appétit
The place looks great, but unfortunately it seems that the cook has a pretty bad day. We ordered the artichoke, spinach and mushroom pizza, and it came without mushrooms. When we asked to correct it, the cook gave us a little RAW mushroom. Then we approached a waitress and asked for a better solution. She took our pizza to put it back into the oven and brought it back at room temperature with mostly raw mushrooms. We gave up at this point and enjoyed the Spinat Artichoke Pizza. Oh, good. Hopefully the boss has a better day next time.
Came to try some things from their bakery. I tried the ham and cheese croissant and their Nutella brownie. They were both tasty, but I was a little disappointed with the small amount of ham and cheese inside the croissant, and somehow I lost half my brownie when the cashier put it in the box. I don't know what really happened there but the brownie was definitely bigger than this when he pulled it out of the tray.
A nice bakery and cafe with good food. They seem to do a lot of locally sourced. Plenty of seats between the bakery and cafe. They don't have table service though. Fun atmosphere. Plan to spend about $12 plate.
There are not many Din at Dessert sites in Utah Valley. We decided to try dessert here and it's a hidden gem. Her PB cake was so delicious and her carrot cake was moist and delicious! This will be our new place! It is also a delicious lunch or dinner. Servers were so friendly. I'm sorry, no photos, we've tasted the delicious dessert too fast.
