Paasha Turkish Cafe - Pukekohe

Well... What can my review for Paasha be after my last visit??? Yum!!! And ****!!! We went for lunch on Tuesday and the place wasn't packed, just a few quiet diners enjoying their meals. My lady ordered the Combination Shish, and I got the Combination Iskender... Pretty sure I spelt it wrong in my earlier pic too... I think I was checking out the A rating at the time. That's my excuse and I'm sticking with it!!! The lunch sizes were massive!!! Didn't look huge at the time, but (and here's where the holy shitness comes in) we were so full afterwards!!! Definitely shouldn't have ordered the bowl of fries to mop up the yum!!! If you ever want to feel what it's like to be pregnant order the lunch meal!!! Good service, nice ambience.. And watching a couple of down on their luck people poach ciggies off the footpath outside and then coming in and politely asking to fill a water bottle was pretty good light entertainment. The guy serving obliged without a fuss... Nice one dude!!! I still feel full a day later, so if you plan on hitting town for a drink afterwards, or a bit of after date shenanigans ask for a doggie bag!!! Recommend for sure!!!

Mate I've been to this restaurant over the years many times I totally write it I love the food at the quality of the food I recommend it to anyone

Got 2 Donner Kababs for 2 of us. both made on a stale Turkish bread that was burnt. Inside was the white of cabbage roughly diced and no dressing. The meat was gritty and they forgot our drinks. wow never going back. Worst meal ive ever had in Pukekohe

Quite possibly one of the best places you can go in Pukekohe for a meal. Amazing food at competitive prices, authentic Turkish experience. Great staff and comfortable dining. Takeout/delivery is great too

Have been here many times since my original review, the quality of the foods remains the same. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about the level of service. We were a group of 6 that dined here recently, we had only just arrived and our waitress gave us the menu. After just a few minutes she returned wanting us to place our order, normally you are asked if you want to order drinks while deciding. We then had to ask her again to give us more time to to decide on our choices. Not once did she come back to ask us if our meals were OK or did we require additional drinks or even water for the table. After our meal and the plates were cleared away, we were not asked if we wish to see the dessert menu. We were talking when the bill appeared on the table, after a few minutes she returned and told us that they were closing in 10 minutes. My son had to ask for a glass of water while the bill was being paid. The waitress attitude and level of service spoiled a great fun evening.
