Empire Bagels - Punta Gorda

Ordered bagels on line because they told me that’s how you get the bagels you want. When I got there they had my order but had sold my bagels anyway. I asked for a refund which they said they would do. It had been a week no refund! They do not fulfill promises and you should be warned too. They could have offered to double my order for the next day since I had driven 10 miles to get there but they made no such customer related offer.

Excellent fresh NY style bagel's, I ordered the Bagel, egg, ham cheese which was great! Been there quite a few times this trip and always delicious. Being from NJ, it's easy to recognize a great bagel. Very reasonably priced especially for Marco Island.

I really wanted to try this place but I asked for a bagel with tuna and they were out. Then a bagel with chicken salad and they were out. Then a bagel with egg salad and they were out . Then they didn’t even have a plain bagel left for my son. Left hungry and with no food and ended up at Wawa. They should have enough food for a noon time on a Sunday. I could understand being out of one thing but not so many things. I’ll try to go one more time.

Ordered for pick up and asked for double bacon ? got all the way home to what looked like a joke ! There was literally half a egg and 1 bacon strip in 4's ..... Unreal but she made sure I was charged for it. Called and told her and was told to come back and they'll make it right. That's fine in all but the location is well otta the way.The hired young help needs be be what directly babysat while working ?????
