Rose Crown - Purbeck

We decided to try out the Rose Crown for a birthday meal for 8, as it was conveniently located near where we were staying. The barman was extremely friendly, the food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. The pint of Haka was perfect. We ordered a variety of dishes including chili, gammon, braised lamb, lasagna, beef roasts, and cheesy chips, and all of them tasted fantastic with no complaints. Whether you're a local or just passing through the area, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

8 of us waltzed in here last night for a birthday meal. Never been before, just saw it was at the end of the road so gave it a go. Top move. Staff were Uber friendly and accommodating. And the food? Well, it’s been 14 hours since I ate and I can just about move now. It was quality. Tasty, filling and not shy on portions. One of those meals that you know after the second mouthful you’re going to struggle to finish it but you’ll graft through as it tastes so good. Not one criticism from any of us. We were all stuffed. Still had room for duff though and predictably that was awesome too. Top banana!!!

Great place , fantastic accommodation with superb beds and great shower. Food was first class . Staff very friendly and the room came with a full breakfast . We will be back .

Great place to stay. Lovely modern room, great breakfast and evening meal. Decided to get out of the hustle of Poole and stay a few miles outside, and happy I made that choice! Whether business or leisure, I recommend you look here. Would definitely stay here again.

This place is fantastic! The staff are friendly and pleasant, the room is amazing, and the facilities are fantastic. The food is really nice, especially the breakfast. I love that there is a fridge with water and milk on the landing. This place exceeded our expectations. We arrived on a Friday night, which happened to be quiz night and they were fully booked. However, they managed to squeeze us in and even moved a table from another room so we could join in the quiz. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly and accommodating staff who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for an amazing experience!
