Almon Marina

After watching a movie with my parents we had late lunch at Almon Marina. They moved location from front entrance of The Block, now near the supermarket. It’s smaller now compared to before. This probably is one of the first restaurants I’d think of if I want a sandwich because they offer a wide selection. From seafood to gourmet choices. They also offer meals if you are not in the mood for sandwiches. Get ready to splurge as well because most of the items can be a little expensive. Here are the dishes we ordered: Grilled Sausage (Php 245) you can choose which sausage you like: bratwurst, hausmacher, Italian sausage, saucisson venezia and frankfurter. I had chose Frankfurter with rice and potato salad. Talk about carbo loading. Grilled Norwegian Salmon (Php 309) they made an effort with the presentation. I don’t usually see rice served in that manner. It was a well-balanced meal. Lite Sandwich, Pasta and Salad combination. (Php 245) My mother ordered roast beef for sandwich and marinara sauce for pasta. It also came with iced tea. I think this order was the most sulit among our orders.

Go with their set meals. I had the garlic sausage bolognese salad garlic bread iced tea. Sulit! I especially loved the bolognese and garlic bread. Their callos is also a hit in our table, but serving size left me craving for more. We also tried their stuffed porkchop, which is said to be one of their bestsellers. Unfortunately, I'm just not sold on adding apples into savories. Others may find this good, though. Will surely be back here to try their sandwiches soon.

We ordered a chicken pie to go here. It was incredibly flaky and the gravy was extra flavorful. The sides of mashed potatoes and buttered vegetables were alright, nothing to write home about. Order the steak and kidney version of this and you won't regret it. Always a solid lunch option.

So my boyfriend suggested that we should try their food there so we eat dinner here a while ago. The place was small but organized and the waiters were attentive to our needs. We ordered the dish where it has 1/4 roasted chicken, pasta alfredo and salad. Everything tasted good and flavorful! Even the sandwich of my guy tasted good to! Will be back here soon!

I like their sandwiches, I love their pasta. Perfect place to wait while one of your family members are buying their groceries : Also you can imagine yourself being in one of the casual dinings in Italy due to its ambience and interiors.
