Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe came from the airport famished and went to this restaurant as it was near our hotel. Our waiter greeted us and let us choose a table outside on their beautiful terrace. He helped us choose our meals – all Ecuadorian dishes. We enjoyed our beers while we waited together with free plates of corn nuts, plantain chips with a hot sauce. Delicious. Then Jesus brought out my Lacro de Papa and cooked with a little flame underneath. He said to wait until the flame went out what I did. The dish was beautifully presented, with avocados arranged on one side, and the soup was divine, as my ceviche blend with Chochlo grain. My husband ordered lamb fritada with spicy sauce, which he also enjoyed. The whole experience was very nice. We didn't have the food the rest of our time in Quito was good, so went back to lunch on our last day. I recommend this restaurant.
I love Geraniums and this place has a beautiful selection of colors. We ate there mid afternoon and it was very quiet. The building is quite old and in beautiful condition in a quiet side street. I had the trucha (trout) and it was perfect. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the ambience.
We had a wonderful meal with cocktails there. Great service.
Very nice ambiance. Friendly and well trained personnel. Superb food. Costly compared to the rest of Quito. But the sizes of the dishes are very big. Varying menu with fish, meat and guinea pig for those who want to try $35) Guinea pig is a mean course meal, and often shared by 2 4 persons. Good choise of music, perfectly fitting with the atmosphere. More of a formal place, although there is not dress code and beer comes in the bottle. Great selection of local and international wines. Still mostly from South America) Average 3 course meal, excluding drinks, will cost $35 $50 pp.
Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy delicious Ecuadorian food. Thanks Omar for your wise recommendation! Exquisite Trucha!!!
