I visited this place with my girlfriend for a late night pizza. We phoned to make sure they had vegan cheese and the base didn’t have any eggs or milk and they confirmed both. Although it was reasonably late the place was still busy and the kitchen was buzzing with activity. You have to order your food at the desk and then find a seat and they will bring it to you. It had a traditional and authentic Italian pizza kitchen feel and although the menu was just pizzas and salads there were plenty of vegan options. You need to specify vegan cheese when you order and is a little more expensive than the menu price. The pizza came so quick we were hardly waiting five minutes and it was delicious the best pizza I have had in South America. The ingredients were fresh, 100% organic and their vegan cheese which they said was made with almonds was awesome. Friendly staff a great atmosphere and delicious vegan pizza means I will definitely be returning soon.
Three stars might have been a bit tough, but four would have been too much. I am grateful that they had vegan options and that they were open so late when almost all vegan restaurants were closed. The room is beautiful and seems to be popular with locals. Pizza-wise I have mixed feelings, so the evaluation. The dough was beautiful, chewing and crispy. The toppings were okay, but the cheese was bad. No melt and taste. The improvement alone would bring the pizza to a really good level.
One of the best pizzerias we have ever eaten and we have often eaten pizza in Italy! They have a wide selection of vegan pizzas, and vegan pastas and desserts will soon come! Lorenzo, the owner, is very nice and helpful and a real pizza master! There is also a very nice children's corner in the restaurant, which made our daughter very happy. We loved it and will surely be back!
I believe that the restaurant may have switched the brand of vegan cheese they use. In previous photos, it appeared to melt like traditional cheese, but the one we had was more like crumbly tofu, despite still being almond-based. The flavor was not enjoyable and the overall pizza lacked taste. I was hoping for more based on the reviews. However, the dough was outstanding! This review was updated on February 13, 2023.
