The Austral Inn - QUORN

Quality pub grub. I had chicken Kiev which was very good. Wife had rib on the bone. Said it was the best steak she'd had in a long time. Not happy with that cause I think I cook a great BBQ. Salad bar nice. Cooked veggie bar really good. Reasonable prices on wine.

Quorn is a quaint rural town with magnificent wide streets and buildings reminiscent of a bygone era. Having travelled to here on the Pichi Richi Railway a Aussie country pub meal was in order. Service and food was good, what you would expect from a small town country pub. Menu had something for everyone. The venue is a little tired but the experience was friendly and authentic.

We had two meals at the Austral Inn. Both were very good. The Austal offers some interesting menu choices, including Kangaroo Schnitzel with Quandong Sauce. The service was very good.

Had a great meal - very nice veggie and salad bar was a bonus as was the decent wine list ! A nice hotel , great staff and the best steak I have had for some time Worth a visit - highly recommended !

Good food served in the bar in front of the fire. Helpful staff, good service and plenty to choose on the menu
