Avaliação da contribuiçãoFood is great but the appearance of the shop is underwhelming. There are usually kitchen supplies all over the common area, the countertops are unfinished and the service is usually subpar. For the price we pay, I would hope the overall customer experience would match that.
My husband and I tried this place for the first time the other night and it was so good! He had the avocado toast and an açaí bowl and I the vegan wrap…absolutely delicious!! I wish there were more places like this, especially for vegans!!
Call me crazy, but if you order a Chicken Pesto wrap, shouldn't the wrap have SOME chicken in it? Your proud cross section cut should expose the best of your wrap containing clearly visible chicken with sufficient lettuce... However the wrap that I received was 95% lettuce, 3% crushed hopes and dreams and about 2% chicken. I understand that in order to keep food costs down, you can reduce the quantities of meat in your food, but this is taking it to another extreme.Sadly, I wasn't the only one at our table impacted by this reduced meat meal. Two of us ordered the wrap, both wraps came out the same way, the other two ordered bowls which looked better. If I had to choose whether to go back there again or not, at this time, I would avoid the place. Not only was the wrap nearly meatless, it was also extremely overpriced for what you get (especially with the lack of chicken). Thankfully, there are plenty of other healthy food options in Raleigh to quench our desires.
It's a decent place, the food is pretty good; but it can't get 4 or 5 stars from me until it takes down the politically and socially divisive Black Lives Matter sign it has in the front of its establishment. We now know and has been proven that the organization Black Lives Matter was an unmitigated scam. Besides, I don't understand what Kale or eating healthy has to do with anything political anyway? No disrespect at all, but Is it too much to ask that they only focus on their niche and create a safe space for ALL people, which includes people who don't subscribe to BLM or rainbow ideologies?
First time I ate here food was pretty good. Food was good this time also but the overnight oats are not overnight oats, or even cooked, so that was disappointing. The toasts and acai bowls are very good though. Small inside and service was a little slow, but I would recommend it if you are not in a rush. Maybe they were short staffed? Staff was friendly though and that is what counts.Edit after shops response: I didn't mean cooked. I meant you could tell they were JUST thrown together. The oats were still hard and not softer as they would be had they really been overnight oats. The oatmilk was still very much separate from the oats and not soaked into it.
