Wakefield Tavern - Raleigh

Great food and service. Crowded though. Get there early for dinner.

The parking space is sufficient, went on a Sunday after the church and there was limited waiting time that was brilliant. the staff was very attentive and fast. eating was made as expected for a standard American kitchen meal.well. I would recommend this restaurant.

The food was delicious as always, but the service was not as good as in the past. we sat at a table in the bar area and that might have something to do with it, but it took really long until the waitress noticed that the drinks were low or run out and refilled or even canisters of water on table for us to refill water glasses themselves.

Eating is always great, they have a lot of gluten-free options when that is what they are looking for and the personal is always so beautiful.

The second time after wakefield tavern. it will be our last. we sat in a standing, which the grown-ups behind us repeatedly pushed back to the stand and leaned forward. that went 10 minutes. the staff didn't check us out, so we went to a table. the waitress comes over and told us that we can't just move to another table. that it was reserved. I told her why we moved and she did nothing to make the situation better. we have gone out and will never go back. they can have good food, but there are no signs that they need a reservation.
