Kinchley's Tavern Inc. - Ramsey

Kinchley 's is iconic for a reason. This is the place that guests always want to go when they are visiting it has that hometown comfortable feel. They are always very busy so be sure to make a reservation early, and plan to have to wait when you get there. I like all the different salad options you can go classic or try something a little different. Their service is very efficient, so figure out what you want while you 're waiting for your table. I wouldn 't come here for a long, relaxed, quiet event, but if you want the best food and an enjoyably busy vibe, this is THE place to go.

Recently I enjoyed a delicious mushroom sausage pizza during a quick trip to Jersey. Not a lot has changed at this excellent pizzeria since my childhood including the great service yummy food. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the Ramsey area! Please note they ONLY accept cash (they have an ATM).

This is by far one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. I’ve been here for over 12 years and the pizza is always delicious. The service is great and everyone is so friendly. I definitely recommend getting the chicken cutlet fra diavolo pizza. It’s the perfect combination of spicy with meat on pizza. It’s the only thing I get and it never fails. Also if you’re in the mood for dessert the ice cream sundae is amazing. I get it with vanilla ice cream, butterscotch and fudge. It’s a cash only place and they have an ATM.

It's hard to imagine many places having a better bar pie than Kinchley's Tavern. The crust is nice and thin, and they are quite generous with the cheese. The vodka sauce is certainly a good choice, as is the Caesar salad. Birch beer is a major plus. Don't forget that it's cash only!
