Everest Cuisine - Rapid City

Delish, flavorful food. The spicy is definitely spicy but not ruin your night kind of heat if you regularly eat hot stuff. Have been eating here for close to a decade or so and have never been disappointed.

The samosas are excellent! They are not spicy at all and the tamarind and mint sauces complement them perfectly. Thank you for this delightful treat.

My family and I decided to try out the only South Asian restaurant open in Rapid City on a Monday, and we were pleasantly surprised. Despite my initial skepticism about finding Indian food in South Dakota, the dishes were quite delicious. Some of the dishes needed a bit more salt for my taste, and the overall spiciness level was on the milder side (if you prefer spicier food, I suggest requesting extra spice). The main downside was the ambiance of the restaurant itself - the AC was not working and it was a sweltering 105° on the day we visited. Additionally, the restaurant was not very aesthetically pleasing and there were flies buzzing around. However, the quality of the food made up for these shortcomings and I would still recommend this restaurant, especially if you are looking for good food near Mount Rushmore.

This place has been a stop on trips through SD for many years. They like many have dealt admirably with a shifting crew of operations over the years, but I can say in all of our travels here we have never had a disappointing meal. Early on, one of theprincipals at Everest made our children feel like royalty during a very difficult time. Excellent!

The buffet at this restaurant is absolutely delicious and well worth the price. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. The butter chicken is exceptional and a must-try. I will definitely be returning soon!
