The Lighthouse - Redding

Greatest place for fish. What I like. Not getting the boat ready, driving to the coast. Buying bait, paying for a license, baiting the hooks for the kids. I am kinda kidding my self, I love to go fishing. But when you don't have the time. The lighthouse is the next best thing, great service and great food. Save your bait, hug the kids and get fish chips you won't bedisappoint.

I have to give this place 5 stars. First thing first, this restaurant is a little bit out of the way and located within a quiet little shopping plaza. We ordered to go as we were in a hurry. We did noticed the inside was very spacious when we picked up ourfood so we may dine in next time. Second thing, damn they give you a lot of food for what you pay for. The fish was good but notthe best we had BUT can you really complain when they give you this much food?! The fried oysters were our favorite part of themeal! Fries we don?t really care too much for.. just additional things to snack on. Clam chowder went down well. I would sayfrom the price alone this place is hard to beat. The food is actually good? the price is good? what?s there to hate about thisplace other than location? It was really only a minor inconvenience. As some reviews have pointed out, they do give extrapieces. I don?t think they forgot how to count.. maybe it?s that small town generosity : .

The best part of dining at this fast food style restaurant was the nice and hot food for a change. My fish and chips came right out of the fryer none of that heat lamp junk here. And the fish was meaty and tasty as well as the fries. The condiment tablewas well stock with every thing you need to complete your meal, like cocktail sauce, tarter, and ketchup.

Enjoying pictures halfway through our food. This place was delicious. The bread was not very thick, but they still offer a light bread version. Will finally come back, the fish and chips were delicious!

Great place, easy to reach, fast service and the food is great! There are healthier options of fried fish and chips if you want or you can go for the normals what I had, it was excellent. Perfectly prepared. Was amazed how much food you get for the money, had the dish, it is a ton of food and it is not disappointed guaranteed! Such a cool place where you wouldn't expect it. If you read my reviews, you will not see bad because I don't share them, I don't feel it's goodbye to businesses, but if you read my reviews you can be sure that I don't control you wrong!
