Roots Kitchen & Bar - Regina

I brought a big group to this restaurant and everyone ordered their own meals and drinks. Despite the small size of the restaurant, the staff did a great job accommodating us. The menu and the food were excellent! The menu offers unique items at reasonable prices. I highly recommend stopping by and supporting this local gem, you won't be disappointed.

We've never gone to this restaurant, but read good reviews so I took my husband there for his birthday dinner. The decor is very bright, warm and modern. The food was fantastic. Our two negative comments would be: 1) The starter...Caesar salad at $13 was absolutely not worth it. Very small part. We asked for the salad before our meals, but it was forgotten and we didn't get it until our meals came. We could say it was a bit in the kitchen. 2) The service was below average. We are not sure whether everyone was new so we try to give everyone the advantage of doubt, but the service was unpleasant, we waited for our food for a long time, although the restaurant was not overly busy and rarely came by and ask if we needed drinks (which we waited for). Overall, we would try again when the food for big, prices were decent and the decor was very welcoming.

What a hidden jewel! Some of us decided to try Roots again tonight and they have recently changed the public restaurant and it is absolutely beautiful. Small enough to be for many people and big enough. The server was excellent. She recommended the...Lemongrass bowl and the curry chicken and our two meals were fed hot and so much taste and great portions. Very cheap. Our beautiful server also told us about daily specials such as 1/2 starters and even a first-class rib night! This place can be a bit out of the beaten way to find, but trust me to find totally worth it. We'll be back again and again.

This restaurant is very underestimated! Visits for coffee and breakfast. The Banana Bread French Toast does not disappoint if you have a sweet tooth at breakfast.

We went here for breakfast and loved it! The electric decor and music provided a lovely ambiance. The menu had something for everyone and the prices were very reasonable. Servers were also very attentive. They did accidentally give us an extra order of hash browns,...but that was our only issue. Overall, great experience and much preferred over other popular breakfast places in Regina.
