Hillside Tavern Tiki At The Tavern

I enjoyed the atmosphere with a great band playing, so I anticipated it would be a bit loud. However, there was an overwhelming gathering of young people at the bar that evening. With over 30 of them packed into the open-concept space, it became excessively loud and uncomfortable. The venue isn't equipped to handle such a large crowd at the bar, which significantly detracted from my overall experience. On a positive note, the food was excellent, and the service was very good.

We went to this restaurant to catch up with old friends we hadn’t seen in over a year. We were seated quickly, and the service was excellent. We enjoyed a lovely conversation until an acoustic guitarist began to play very loudly with an amplifier, making it impossible for us to continue our discussion. We noticed that the bar and dining room were quickly emptying, with only one table seeming to appreciate the loud music. There was a time when we had experienced a father-son duo playing there, and the music was at a much more acceptable level, allowing for pleasant conversation. Overall, it was a disappointing evening; while the food was delicious, we had little opportunity to reconnect with our friends. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing dinner where you can talk with one another, I suggest avoiding Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.

We visited Hillside Tavern with friends and enjoyed a delicious meal. The waitress was extremely friendly, and the band really enhanced our wonderful evening. We can't wait to return!

Food and service is always outstanding every time we go! Nice atmosphere, fireplace going and entertainment.
