Passionfish Reston

This was a delightful evening as usual. We were very early and enjoyed a very quiet dinner. Our waitress was one of the best servers we have had in a restaurant in recent times. The food from appetizers to dessert was delicious. Can highly recommend this restaurant for wonderful experience.

We went for our anniversary dinner. We had a “Mini-Me” seafood tower, and the chef was nice enough to substitute the roasted oysters for raw. I only eat raw oysters in months that contain R, and then only at a few trusted places. We got a couple of sides, asparagus and eggplant. All of this was fresh and tasty. Our server, Penny was super-nice. Dessert (chocolate bomb and strawberry cheesecake) was a special treat at the end. We left satisfied but not over-stuffed, fully satisfied with the experience.

We came for our anniversary. I ordered the sea bass with crab meat special and my wife ordered the gumbo. My sea bass was cooked and seasoned perfectly and was probably the best sea bass I have had. The gumbo was very good as well, a little spicy which made it that much better. We will definitely come again.

Whole fish was great. Oysters yummy. Halibut was very light and tasty too!! Front of the house was attentive and helpful to the dining room. However, the Server and busboy seemed to struggle. The waitress spent most of her time over the computer screen versus taking care of her diners.

Can't go wrong at PassionFish for fresh, delicious seafood.
