Nice food but often a bit of a wait before your order is served. Can get pretty nosy at times.

Great take away option close to my work. Pizzas are outstanding value! Also make sure you try the Russo's Chips.

A group of friends took me out to eat as I'm visiting from abroad. Most of them raved about the pizza at Russo's saying it is amazing, so I gave it a try. Disclaimer here, I am Italian so I know what authentic pizza should be; light yet sturdy thin crust dough, sweet sauce full of natural flavour, cheese to taste and exceptional toppings used as bites of flavour. What I had was the exact opposite. Instead of receiving the authentic pizza that I was hopeful for, I got a flimsy dough base with sauce that was sugar piled high with cheese and toppings that were extremely saturated in oil, and they were all vegetables. I was actually offended. I'm not sure whether this is the standard for pizza in Australia, however with that said, one should not falsely advertise being authentic when they fall well below the actual standard; not impressed at all. My recommendation for Russo's, visit Italy and bring back the authentic Italian pizza experience, for customers, until that happens, make your own pizza at home; it is cost effective, it is fun for family and friends, and it is much more pleasurable.
