The Original Pancake House - Richland

Great family breakfast joint. A good variety of menu selections that will appeal to most anyone, large portion sizes, delicious food. We really enjoyed the fresh squeezed orange juice, I love breakfast places that have that option as I'mtypically too lazy to do that at home. Also a big fan of the variety of syrups they have, in particular the tropical syrup(reminded me a bit of marmalade) as much as I love maple I like having other options for different pancake flavors. Preparefor it to be crowded on the weekend in the mornings, but I always do the wait list on the website and I get in pretty much rightafter they text me to check in (so if you are going during a busy time I'd recommend you do that).

This is the 2nd time in a month that we've tried to eat here. Not busy at all, 1:30 pm, waited almost 10 minutes to be seated. The manager Juan was talking to a lady friend and her daughter and did not seat us. After waiting for a few more minutes with many tables open, I believe the hostess says we'll be with you in a few minutes. We had already waited and a good manager would have seated us and got us something to drink. Nothing. After a few more minutes, we got up and left. WILL NEVER GO BACK! Can't even get service!

We have tried twice in the last 2 weeks to eat here. We have gone at off peak times. Both times an empty dining room. First time we were directed to the bar and forgotten for 40 minutes and today again an empty place but the manager was at the door hustling his friend in and seated her ahead of us and then we were told to wait..... empty dining room!!!! Never again at this location they suck.

Excellent, speedy, and friendly service. Coffee tastes great and refills were offered as often as I needed. Smaller order of biscuits and gravy, and one egg were perfect for my smaller appetite. Tasted wonderful also, not too salty or heavy. I only wish there were a bit more fruit or healthy options here (ex. full or multi-grain pancakes, waffles, etc). Pre-9am on a weekday, was very quick to seat and get food.Parking: Plenty of parking for all sized cars/trucks or truck+trailer.

The pancake house serves amazing food and the customer service was wonderful! We had a breakfast birthday party and they brought out a free crepe. They have gluten free and sugar free pancake options as well.Food: 5/5
