American Grille - Richmond

Arrive on August 3rd, tired as it was a red eye flight, famished and apprehensive about our booking. Boy was I in for a surprise. To Start off with the smiling Jessica Reillie , the Manager at the front desk put us at ease ans said she would take care of us . Her fabulous hospitality started right there. \i explained we had hd a long light and she surpeised me by saying " You have 30 minutes left before the breakfast buffet closes. \maybe you want to have that and get checked in. As per my request we got an early check in. The breakfast buffet at the American Grille, at the hotel, far surpassed our expectations. What a fun loving staff. \starting from the Manager down to all staff that were at the restaurant they made us feel at home.Tony Lau, makes the best eggs My hubby is a chronic complainer as anyone and everyone who made his poached eggs hard over always served him runny, miserable ones.Danillo, thks for the great food. Frank,Randy, Bobdain, Jovi, thanks to all of you for making our breakfast experience all 3 days a great one.Tony got it perfect. \no complaints from hubby - just a big smile. Boy is he good with eggs. my egg omelet was a veggie one with egg whits and that was also just perfect. they had quite a good spread - all that we needed was there. low fat yogurt, cooked oats, cereals, cheese , great coffee and smiling staff, Shenaz is like a bubbling champagne. She is so full of life, and when she heard i had had stroke and new to diabetes, she said maybe you shd take some small snacks like a muffin and some orange juice just in case my sugar level drops. kind of her. And as wee leaving she told me to take a coffee to go. Awesome Shenaz. I live in Richmond and choose this restaurant for family birthdays, celebrations, lunch and dinner equally good. Love the food! Entrees just right with a glass of wine. Tempting deserts, freshest salads.

Loved the food! Definitely recommend checking it out. Everyone was super nice and accommodating including my server, May! If you're looking for a new place to try you should definitely give it a shot!

Fresh escape. Very good food. We were pleasantly surprised in the Marriott to have such a fresh and good option for lunch. Good service and good food- great combo.
