Bamboo Grove Restaurant - Richmond

We really enjoyed the food and the service was excellent. The restaurant is kind of hard to find, it is tucked away in a small alley. The parking is also limited and the prices are a bit high but it was worth it.

First off, the food is not bad. The pork stomach and ginko nut long boiled soup is amazing. I would not recommend the geoduck with eggs. There are stickers on the doors saying no smoking , however they allow people to smoke and bring self serve drinks. I would like to mention smoking is illegal in restaurants. It made it a very unenjoyable experience for me.

Amazing Chinese food. Coming from Hong Kong and having eaten some of the best Chinese seafood restaurants in Hong Kong and around the world, I will go to say that bamboo grove ranks among the top and even better than a lot of that I have had in Hong Kong. Will 100% come back

Mysterious restaurant in my neighborhood always with closed curtain finally take the courage to try very impressed with their pork belly soup, stir fry beef and sweet sour pork??But Peking duck a bit dry and chicken a bit tough though

Over rated, over price and under service. The food is average, great if you are on a diet. A place is cold and lifeless.
