Happy Tree House Bbq Mù Wū Tàn Kǎo

This is a cozy and tasty grill place. I used to visit here many years ago. The decoration style looks like a wooden house, and the atmosphere is not bad. The grilled skewers, grilled fish and grilled kidneys are quite good. Later, more and more BBQ restaurants in Richmond opened up, and I visited a lot of skewers one after another, and the overall feeling was just so so. I came here again today, and I feel very comfortable.

Love the vibes at this place. Quite loud, but it's a great place to gather with friends to share food.The price is a bit on the higher side which is why I don't go often, but the food is very delicious. I especially enjoyed the sweet potato chips as an appetizer along with the mung bean jelly noodles (always have to order every time!)The skewers are also pretty flavourful and are super yummy.Would go again!

I used to go to Happy Tree House BBQ franchise especially the one on Kingsway street in Vancouver. The overall cost is a little pricey, but it’s a good place for occasional hangouts. For dishes, I personally recommend the grilled fish, durian donut and barbecue lamb. In fact, you’d better order a fresh type rather than a pickled fish, because freshness is what you should pay for. Sometimes, their music is too loud or people’s chitchat is too bothersome, so go to another place when you are looking for a less busy place. After all, I’d still recommend this franchise for those who want to have some Asian food experience.Parking: 7 to 8 spots next to the restaurant
