Avaliação da contribuiçãoThis restaurant charges a premium price for its premium location in the outlet mall. I'm ok with the premium price but extremely disappointed at the food quality. Wonton noodle soup and beef brisket noodle soup were barely edible. The soup was made with soy sauce for color, absolutely no taste in it. I brought the quality issues to the attention of the server and was told the long story of how the soup was made in the traditional way with premium ingredients. I know wonton soup because I grew up eating it on a regular basis. Will never go back to this restaurant.
Went there for 3 bubble tea for my kids. While I was paying for the tea, my wife just sat one of the chair, the waitress talking very rude to my wife and kids to go out and wait there for the tea. Only two or three tables were occupied, and all the remaining was free. If they want us to go out they can tell in a nice way. They behaved disrespectfully and harassed us. I will never go there again and do not recommend this restaurant to my friends. At least the management has to teach good manners to their employees.
Stopped for lunch while shopping at GlenMcArthur Outlets. Good food, fast service, can't complain.! Got my vegetarian meal. I was happy.
Excellent BBQ Pork (my fave) and dim sum. This was probably my best meal in 5 days in Richmond/Vancouver.
Stopped here for lunch while shopping at McArthur Glen. With the explosion in the number of good quality Chinese restaurants and HK style cafes, it’s been ages that I’ve been to a noodle shop. Noodle shops tend to focus purely on efficiency and table turnover and certainly not customer service, and this visit wasn’t any exception. We walked in around 1:30pm on a Saturday and the place was full so we had to share a communal table with several strangers (this isn’t unusual). Their complimentary tea is a lychee tea which I like. We ordered the beef brisket beef with flat rice noodle and the BBQ pork with ramen. Both were OK but I found the BBQ pork to lean and dry. Prices are somewhat expensive. Service is almost like counter service. There’s only 1 or 2 “order takers” that walk around and take orders and all the other front staff purely deliver orders and clean (they won’t take orders even if you ask). Once the order is placed they give you the bill before the food arrives. They automatically charge a 12% service fee which is much more than they deserve. When ready to pay, you go to the counter. Overall, average food with minimal service. They have a monopoly as the only Chinese restaurant in mall with a huge Chinese clientele and they price accordingly. It’s OK to go there for convenience because it won’t be for quality or value.
