Finally a place that shines in presentation and taste in all their items (or the ones we ordered, at least).

Another weekend, another dim sum placeThis place had just moved from a nearby location so we decided to check it out one Sunday morning.

Super expensive and some dishes weren't even better than frozen dim sum I'm hadPass.

You'll find classic Cantonese dim sum at Yue Delicacy. If you like Sun Sui Wah or Fisherman's Terrace, you will find a similar environment: nice white table cloths, very neat, a more tony clientele and attentive service.And honestly, It can be difficult to receive good service in some Chinese establishments if you don't speak the language. That's not the case here - our servers were very polite and helpful. I cannot read kanji, but know the names of dim sum in Cantonese. They put up with my horrid pronunciations & helped me find what I wanted.Unlike the Cantonese dim sum I grew up with, Yue doesn't serve from carts. You must check off items on a sheet and then they bring them out. They have all the classics here and they are done well: eggplant with shrimp, shrimp balls (ha gow), steamed pork & shrimp dumpling (siu mai), chinese broccoli (gai lan), sesame balls (jian dui) and steamed or baked pork buns (hum bao). You'll also find very good congee.We had good luck getting a table just after 1:00 - be prepared for a wait if you're here earlier. On the positive side to waiting (other than great dim sum), waits of 10 minutes or longer give you a 10% discount!

Yue Delicacy is a new restaurant, opened in May I believe. In the same location was a restaurant called Lucky Tao's. In between there was a significant renovation, and this has greatly improved the space. The menu has changed, and it is truly a brand new restaurant. Very good food, and the place is much more presentable.Note the high end cars like Mercedes, BMWs, Audis, Porsche, Bentley, etc that are in the parking lot.Food isn't cheap, but is tast, makes a good value. For a Chinese restaurant, service is pretty good.
