We ordered crispy okra which was over fried, dry and was definitely missing a sauce. The aubergine which was bland, the pulled duck wasnt a dish as it was just hoison duck on top of low quality salad. For mains we had lamb curry which is not hard to get wrong however this lamb was not tender and the curry had no depth in flavour. The chicken biryani which was the only decent dish however the chicken tasted dated. The chicken tikka mac n cheese was the most embarassing as we were served large penne pasta with peppers and chilli chicken, and the waitress asked me what did I expect. (Erm macaroni pasta or a bechamel at least? Lastly was the truffle cheese nan where the waitress said they had no cheese so the chefs can only make it a truffle nan which was ok however when we tasted it, it had no truffle taste and we sent it back to get what we ordered however the chefs closed the kitchen and said they cannot remake it so they just added more neutral oil to it. The mains came after 1 hour with us being the only customers left. I would be embarrassed to serve food like this

Lovey food, but service let’s it down. Saturday night and just one waitress!! All tables filled madness! Service was not prompt and mistakes were made!
Extensive and interesting menu ... we had 3 starters and 2 mains between us and all were excellent. Ungelie and Andy who are the owners are both very involved ... and are both charming! We will certainly be going again soon
Once again Una let me down. I was quite shocked when I was told of certain foods containing gluten when last time I was told they were gluten free??? This is pretty serious and any serious restaurant should know this and label its menu and train its staff accordingly. The other thing that really baffled me was when we requested for the dessert menu- we were told the kitchen had been shut due to low staff numbers. Generally (and for obvious commercial reasons), the staff generally comes over to let the customers know that the kitchen would be closing soon in case they wanted to order something. This is the second time I have had such a bad experience. So certainly not going back anytime soon.
