Enoteca Sogno - Richmond

The service at Enoteca Sogno was exceptional. Our waitress was friendly and very helpful. The food was nothing short of amazing - my partner, who has lived in Italy, said it tasted just like the real thing. This is not your typical Olive Garden experience, so don't expect endless soup and salad. The restaurant specializes in authentic Italian cuisine from the seaside villages. We enjoyed grilled octopus, stone bass, and sea bass. And the wine selection was also fantastic. I absolutely enjoyed my experience at this restaurant and am excited to return. We initially stopped by with friends just for a drink, but the food options were so enticing that we ended up ordering some small dishes. I am looking forward to dining here again. Went to this small Italian restaurant with friends and had a great time! It's definitely a hidden gem with excellent service, food, and wine. We started with a bottle of wine recommended by our server, followed by delicious bread, a flavorful arugula salad, and for dinner we enjoyed the cornish hen, pesto gnocchi, and shrimp scampi. The hen took a while to cook, but we didn't mind because the cozy atmosphere and good company kept us entertained. The portions were just right, leaving us satisfied but not overly full. We even had room for dessert - the pistachio-ricotta cake and lemon mascarpone cake were a delightful way to end the meal, especially with a shot of limoncello. Overall, we had a wonderful time thanks to the great vibe, delicious food, and attentive service.

The rockfish was delectable and the stuffed tortellini was perfectly prepared. The fried calamari might be the best Richmond has to offer. They feature an extensive Italian wine selection. The wait staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.

These guys are amazing. Every time we're in Richmond we have to visit. The Flounder is superb and the duck is magnificent.
