Sushi Shop - Richmond Upon Thames

The Dragon Roll was of poor quality and not well rolled. The sashimi was decent, but thinly sliced. The fillings in the maki and inside rolls were lacking in flavor. I wasn't expecting exceptional sushi at this price point, but I have had better experiences at Itsu, despite it being more expensive.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant for dinner on Friday. I was disappointed to find that the sushi rolls fell apart when I dipped them in soy sauce - it felt like I had bought them from a supermarket. Additionally, using cream cheese as a filling in some of the rolls was completely unacceptable. The soggy corn chips and excessive black garnish on the sushi rolls were also off-putting. The quality of the rice and overall presentation did not meet the expectations of an expensive sushi restaurant. I would not recommend it.

I have dined here a few times, but with the ongoing pandemic, my friend and I decided to get sushi to go and enjoy it by the river. Although the prices are higher than other places, the quality is definitely worth it. During lunch, you also get a complimentary side dish. I tried the shredded carrot salad with pineapple (I believe), and the juice was absolutely delicious.

Yesterday I called in an order, the person on the phone had a very difficult to understand. she always said that she couldn't find my postcode and my address. I had to repeat it at least. when the order did not arrive in the evening. I called and spoke to another person who said my order had gone to a wrong address and my phone number was wrong so they could not call me! they said they would make a new order. when the application arrived after minen, the rice was thick in all the rolls, sticky lumps of straw. the expensive dragon roll was crushed as if the box had been dropped or crushed. I will not order again!

We had a big take away mea days before Christmas. It's all quite standard sushi but was good quality maybe not high end Japanese sashimi but also not their prices. Good selection and the catalogue is very comprehensive,.
