Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe portion of cheesecake was quite small and did not include any berries as shown in the picture. Paying $10 plus taxes for this was disappointing.
The sauce had a distinctive flavor that I can only describe as "brown." It was a bit strange and hard to pinpoint, but that's the best way I can convey its taste.
Our family was visiting parents and all six of us went to Cage Aux Sports for supper. Quite a long wait but this was not the problem. One Daughter got greek salad- she didn't like the overpowering olive taste- because we counted 30 olives in juice under the tomatoes! The other daughter got the asian salad and said it tasted weird- after tasting and smelling, we discovered that the pile of shredded carrots on top was rotten, slimy and smelled like dish water! Two of us ordered Caesar salad and were appalled right away. Caesars have anchovies but should not taste like sour cream and that fishy. It was vile and smelly too.Four of six of us ate nothing, debated about it and decided to speak with waitress about our food. She called the manager over and each salad issue explained -we got "this is how we make it""we make our own dressings". She was angry, obviously, and quite rude. I even asked her to smell the gross carrots and to explain how that many olives should be in such a small salad but she did not do so. She stomped off and came back holding up our bill said loudly how she took off the salads from our bill that we said we didn't like- slammed it on the table and stomped off. Horrible food and very rudely treated. Would never recommend going here!
What more to say but awesome place to eat and party. Have an event or meeting planned, this is the place to be. The breakfasts are also awesome!
Go here if you want free popcorn, lots of TVs and an up-beat atmosphere, albeit with annoying music. However, do not go here for good food! Everything is mediocre and the burgers are the worst in town. My husband and I live here and so this is not the first time we've been to La Cage, but it is my first review. I'm prompted to write because the main dishes have gotten to be so horrible! The burgers are consistently overcooked; I imagine the cook smashes all the juices out with a spatula. I've had their steaks and other sandwiches and nothing is worth the price. The best thing to do is to go and enjoy your drinks with appetizers ... then go home if you want more for dinner or go somewhere else!
