Avaliação da contribuiçãoMy hubby and I was there last week, had friendly waitstaff and very accommodating to our demands as my husband is a very fussy person. The food is alright, we had schnitzels and the seafood platter. Schnitzels were cooked nicely but could improve on the portion size of the seafood platter as the prawns were very small and seasoning. The garlic prawns and the grilled prawns tasted similar, no contrast in flavour. Desserts were good, creme brûlée had a good texture and had a nice crust. Chocolate fondant was really good. Would come back again, hoping they would add more Aussie favourites and slow cooked dishes like the previous management. Hope to see an improvement and when we return next time. Kudos
I recently had a pleasant surprise at Josephine's, a restaurant located behind a sketchy drive-thru liquor store/bar. It has a cafeteria-style atmosphere and offers a variety of typical pub fare. There is plenty of parking available in the back lot. I was impressed by how delicious the food was. You order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. Be prepared for a bit of a wait, especially on busy nights. I went on a Friday night and it was packed. I tried the Surf and Turf for $35, which included a perfectly grilled rump steak topped with hollandaise sauce and two juicy prawns. The chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
Fantastic experience! The service was great and the food was delicious. Our large group was quickly accommodated. The desserts were excellent. The only thing missing is a kids' area, but once that is added, this restaurant will be a hit. I will definitely be returning.
This restaurant is great for those looking for pub or club food. I was impressed by the quality of their meals, which are delicious and offer a variety of choices. While prices are on the higher side for a pub or club, they are not overly expensive. If prices were any higher, it would be better to dine at a traditional restaurant. This place is family-friendly and the drinks are reasonably priced, as expected for a club.
Excellent quality in food! For a pub , prices are a bit expensive but you get what you pay for. Service is always very friendly too and great atmosphere/decor. Standout dishes for me are the lamb shanks and the veal!
