Kabuki Japanese Steak House - Roanoke

We went here the same night as prom. Lots of teens gallivanting around, and there was a little of a wait. Suggest making a reservation to avoid a long wait. Depending on the size of your party you will be seated with another party or several to fill up the table (seats about 15).  The server was quick to take our order and keep drinks filled. I ordered some sushi as an appetizer. The regular meal will more than fill you up so skip the appetizers unless your sharing with several people.  Each meal comes with the rice and veggies, and your choice of meat. For only a few dollars more you can get two meats and add the variety. The chef comes out and cooks the food in front of you hibachi style. Its entertaining, and great food.  Side note: the food is pretty greasy and you will likely need to find a toilet soon after eating. Not somewhere you'd want to stop if traveling up or down 81.

A far cry from what it used to be I've been going to Kabuki for many years, and back in the 90's it was a much better experience.
