Luigi's Italian Gourmet Restaurant

Luigi's is the obvious go-to for Italian in RoanokeExcellent food, comfy yet classy interior, and impeccable serviceMs.

So bad. Makes Olive Garden look like a fancy fine dining. Buy a box of 99 cent pasta and jar of sauce and save yourself the trouble.

My girlfriend has been coming to this restaurant since she was a child and knows the owners personally.  She always says the food is excellent and the service is unmatched in Roanoke.  She gave me a gift card for Father's Day and so we went last night.  I got the Marsala veal chop special with potatoes and broccoli.  It was the best Marsala I have ever had and I had to call my parents (we are Italian) after the meal to invite them the next time we eat there.  My girlfriend got her usual veal parmigiana and avocado dressing with the side salad.  She loves this dish and the taste was great.  We got the calamari for an appetizer which was an excellent choice.  I will definitely be back for this most excellent Italian food.
