Nanni - Rochelle Park

We have been going to Nanni's for many years. Excellent good and atmosphere. The menu is choice are wonderful. The staff is very friendly and competent. I highly recommend Nanni's.

We came in on mother's Day without a reservation but they were able to kindly seat us within 30 minutes. The staff and service was pleasant and professional if a bit slow but given the long and busy day we didn't mind.Unfortunately the food was disappointing. I've been here before and had a better experience.The chicken francese was not pounded thin but essentially chicken fingers with a sauce that lacked the lemon flavor. We asked for mashed potatoes with it and it was runny and strangely flavored.The sea scallops were overcooked, the osso buco was ok but a bit bland.We had two more forgettable dishes as well that I won't bother detailing.At over $40 a person after tip (without alcohol) there are plenty of other options around.

The food and the service is remarkable It is quite the dining experience

The food was average Italian, not bad, but nothing stood out as being special. My husband had soft shell crabs (one of the specials) and they arrived Lukewarm. Our waiter was awful never came a checked in with us just dropped appetizers and disappeared then the same with dinner. We had to ask several times for more bread, sat with empty drinks searching for someone to take an order. Overall, I will not be returning.
